A stylish LED uplight
The Stairville BTL-30 Battery Truss Light LED is equipped with a trio of RGBW quad LEDs that will perfectly accentuate objects and surfaces, and it can be placed on the ground as an uplight or integrated into a fixed installation. It looks pretty good too, and features numerous pre-programmed mixed colours and effects programmes. The light's matt-black housing has a very small footprint to minimise space requirements, while its triangular design makes it perfect for the internal illumination of three-point trusses. Thanks to its combination of relatively high-powered LEDs for a model of this price range and a comparatively wide beam angle, the Stairville BTL-30 Battery Truss Light LED can also illuminate larger surfaces when placed at the correct distance. What is more, the integrated fan generates a scarcely noticeable level of noise, so discretion is assured.

Remote control and wireless operation
Each of the three LEDs with which the Stairville BTL-30 Battery Truss Light LED comes loaded have a 10W power rating and a beam angle of 30°, and they allow all static colours to be mixed from red, green, blue, and white. Further highlights include colour change and fade programmes, stroboscope effects, and a "sound control" mode. The light can be operated via the onboard controls, via DMX, or using the remote control included in the scope of delivery - the latter requiring a direct line of sight with the infrared receiver located between the LED lenses. The light's in-built lithium ion battery will provide between four and eight hours of life depending on the load, and it can be charged using the power cable included in the scope of delivery. Alternatively, it can also be powered continuously from the mains.

For bars and small stages
The Stairville BTL-30 Battery Truss Light LED is ideal for colourfully setting the mood in bars, galleries, small showrooms, and large living rooms. Placed on the ground (where its sturdy rubber feet will ensure a solid base), the BTL-30 will serve as a wireless uplight and allow both event organisers and mobile DJs to easily create striking lighting effects using the included remote control, and they can monitor the charge level via the battery indicator on the control panel. Restauranteurs and club operators in turn can integrate this compact spotlight - which features an M8 thread on the side and an M8 thread on the underside - into a fixed installation, and since it measures just 120 x 158 x 110mm, it will not take up an excessive amount of space. The BTL-30 can additionally be controlled via DMX for individual lighting inserts during home music performances and exhibitions. It is also possible to connect multiple units in series by connecting the power outlet of the first light to the power inlet of the second, etc., and a safety rope can be threaded through the dedicated openings on the rear of the housing.

Since it was introduced in 1994, Thomann’s in-house brand Stairville has been a permanent fixture in the store’s product range. The brand primarily focuses on the field of stage lighting in general, and its products include spotlights, moving lights, and theatre lighting as well as smoke machines, electronic control systems, and every other accessory you can think of. Thomann constantly has around 1,600 Stairville products on offer, and the figures speak for themselves: Statistically, one in every fifteen Thomann customers owns at least one Stairville product. Incidentally, the name “Stairville” is also a catchy English translation of “Treppendorf”, the town that Thomann calls home.
Home lighting design
Users looking to explore the full potential of the Stairville BTL-30 Battery Truss Light LED can do so by setting up a compact lighting desk in their living room - with just seven channels, they can then take advantage of the full range of lighting options available for creating the desired ambience. The first step is to connect the included DMX cable to the lighting desk's DMX output and the light's DMX input, then select DMX address 1 using the onboard control buttons. Fader 1 is then set as the master dimmer, and the next four can be used to mix the individual colours. The sixth fader is responsible for the stoboscope effects as well as the automatic programmes and sound control mode, while the seventh fader is used to adjust the tempo of the automatic programmes. With this simple setup, the user is ready for the next house party, and they can quickly and easily determine the ideal position and colour for the light to create the best possible effect before the guests arrive.
