A capable and visually impressive light
The overall feel of the light is solid and well-built. I purchased it for mobile DJ use, especially for setups and venues where a smoke machine cannot be used (so you can’t take advantage of the “surface” that smoke provides for lighting effects).
The control is handled via an AI-based controller in 433-channel mode. The effect is stunning and three-dimensional. I use a pair of these together with two Vintage Bowl 50s and an Ape Labs Tube PIX set, and the result is, quite simply, amazing.
The Goliath is a highly capable and visually impressive light, especially when its full potential can be utilized through AI control. For transport, I bought a Thon Accessory Case 120x50x50, added wheels to it, and customized the foam inserts from the original Goliath boxes to fit inside the case.
Highly recommended—provided that the control system is sufficiently capable.
