Works but..

I originally bought one of these and one QK-2B to compare them side by side, so my review will be based on that comparison.

The adapter works. It does its job; you can use it to connect and disconnect a microphone very quickly and easily from a stand.
However it feels flimsy; the body is mostly plastic, and it doesn't feel very high quality.
When a microphone is connected, the adapter feels wobbly; I assume because of the built-in shock mount. Still, wouldn't trust it with any expensive microphone.
It's one advantage would be that it is shorter than the alternative, which can be of advantage but I'd rather not mix adapters in the studio since that would defeat my main purpose (being able to quickly put any mic on any stand).

It's worth mentioning that since the initial comparison I've bought several QK-2B's, to the point that I have one for pretty much every mic stand, clamp and microphone that I own.

All in all, I wouldn't say this is a bad product. The feel may be a bit on the flimsy side, but it does its job and I have had no real issues with it. Still, is o recommend the alternative, as I find it better in all ways.

The quality (for mostly plastic product) is good. There's a video on Youtube about this product and this thing is indestructible. But it's a bit shaky, just leaves the feeling of not quality item and if I a have to put expensive mic in a higher position, I wouldn't do that. For cheaper less heavy mics like (small condenser cheap mics) I'll use it for sure. Keep in mind that it looses it's grip with a slight touch of the button. So it's not good for neurotic singers who, always "play" with the mic stand on stage. I'll keep this one just in case, but I'd go with it's bigger brother On-Stage QK-2B next time.
