Difficult to turn around
I bought this to use in a dedicated monitoring rack to have outputs to FOH from two microphone splitters used as input, but assumed turning it backwards would be no problem (the inputs are in front, I needed them in the back with the outputs in front). Luckily it was possible by dismantling it and turning the internal PCB with the connectors around and putting it back together, although the screws that secure the PCB to the chassis would no longer fit as they are not in the middle but offset towards the back. Fortunately that shouldn't matter much since the 64 screws in total that secures the connectors to the chassis should be enough. Still though, I'd like to see it be slightly more flexible, perhaps by having the ears on separate brackets that can be turned around (like the ART P16 patchbay has).
Regardless, this unit is way cheaper than the ART P16, so I guess I can't complain, and it does suit my purpose after doing my own modification.

Great patchbay
Great patchbay. I re-built this one bringing the male connectors to the front and the female to the back. Easy to do. Great solution for me. There is nothing to say about handling and features; it's a patchbay

Good quality
The quality of this patchbay is good enough for the price, nothing fancy but still sturdy and well refined (no wiggling of any kind). The best feature of this patch bay is the possibility of mounting it reversed thanks to the reversable rack wings. That was a necessary feature for me, since I need it for Outputs on the front and not on the back.

Perfect addition to my home studio. Allows me to route many mics through external processes and then reroute back to my patch bays.

A handy tool that does what you expect
I use this XLR patchbay to make XLR inputs on the back of a Steinberg UR824 and other XLR inputs that are difficult to reach more accessible. The patchbay is self-explanatory and seems to function as it should. A great time-saver and it protects the XLR-connections on more expensive equipment.

preamp inputs
I use this for bringing the preamp inputs from the back of my rack to the front, it works perfectly well, phantom power runs through with no trouble and they are very well-made, strong metal construction, will last me for years

A good item with a few cons
While using this in an in-ear monitoring rack. Noticed a few cons.
First of all two sided mounting would be good. As well as switching the board inside is not an option. So when buying take notice what side has which type of XLR
