Want a good PA SOUND

The Mackie Thump 215 active speaker set, I first tried at home and was happy with the results. Had my first live gig this evening and impressed is not a word I would use ‘ blown away ‘ would be my wording. They take a minute or two to set your volume on speakers and levels on desk but once you are done they most definitely do the job and definitely have a Thump. I have bought other active systems ( although I am old school and normally work with passive over the last 40 years ) and I mean Yamaha, Turbo Sound & Ev none of which met their specifications, but yet the Mackie Thump does. Even the price is more than fantastic 🤙🤙🤙

Great Speaker but xlr jack has gone faulty

Very pleased with sound and lightvweight feel of speakers.
But one jack input has gone faulty in the cobmbo xlr section.
Expected better quality.

You have no idea what quality you get for the price.
They are by no means cheaply made.For small and medium sized venues, they will impress people with the sound quality. I'm really happy with my choice.

Great & Light weight Speaker

has a slight hiss even with no input and everything turn down as far as can go. don't notice it when playing music, used 2 and the 118 for dj setup outside sounde louid and good, punchy from the 215's and nice big bass from the 118, with out the 118 and running the 215 on own with BluTuth adapter into the 3.5mm jack from phone for example has lots of room filling bass!.
