Great violin holder
This is a great violin holder, I couldn't imagine better. It's easily mounted and holds a violin and a bow perfectly.
In case you were wondering, it can also hold a viola!

If you don't mind the plastic look is perfect.
The violin holder is soft and will work forever without leaving a scratch, the bow holder is in the same material as well.
The wall mounting part as well as the arm is in plastic and well, if you want for some high quality looks choose something else, this is just for holding and does that purpose quite nicely.

Does its job also for viola
I have this wall mount now for some months and it does its job. It's on a wall and supports my 16.5" viola.
The plastic mount is a bit shallow but it's more than strong enough to hold your instrument. No way it slips and the tip for the bow is really appreciated.

Should really supply fixings
The product works very well as a means of keeping a violin and bow ready for use at short notice. I recently bought 3 of these and am generally happy with them. My criticism is that they are not supplied with fixings of any kind and I feel that this should be made clear in the description, as they are not priced as a budget accessory.

Almost perfect product.
I heartily recommend this wall hanger, don't get me wrong;
But one particular point that I think is worthy of note and that other reviewers haven't mentioned: even taut, my bow hair rests gently against the violin's body, unless if I remove the shoulder rest -- if I do, the bow hair just barely misses the violin's body.
Now, mine's one of the cheaper Stentor violins, and I tend to leave the bow un-taut, so it's not of much worry to me. It could very well be user error on my part anyway :)
