These strings were recommended to me to give a rich fuller sound to my resonator.
The strings are probably heavier than most people are used to but this provides a stronger sound.
Ideal for slide use as it is the slide that makes contact with th e string and not the fingertips which might get sore initially until the player is used to them.

Die JOHN PEARSE 3100 RESOPHONIC Dobrosaiten sind nicht ganz billig aber alles in allem eine gute Wahl für Square Necks. Der Sound ist „Phosphorebronzig“ warm und weich und klingt einfach Klasse. Für Leute die etwas dickere tiefe Saiten bevorzugen in meinen Augen die beste Wahl.

Montées en open G (DGDGBD) sur deux résonateurs Johnson MG10 et Dobro Gibson c'est le tirant idéal. Son chaud et pas trop cristallin. Après avoir essayé plusieurs autres marques c'est celle que je préfère pour l'instant.

Ja, für mich sind diese Sieten die besten die ich kenne. Der Ton hat gut definierten Bass, die Höhen sind Glockig Obertonreich mit einer schönen Presenz. Diese Seiten halten auch lange diesen Klang. Es ist mit sicherheit eine persöhnliche Geschmacksache, welche Seiten man bevorzugt und welchen Klang mann erreichen möchte, aber ich denke diese Seiten sind ein Kennenlernen wert.
