Very compact and comfortable pair of closed headphones - the fibreglass and minimalist straps make it very light on the head. Although there's no real annoying clamp when you first put it on - you do notice it get a bit worse over time. The design does an excellent job at preventing sound leakage though, even in noisy environments: whilst I'd prefer to use Sony XMs, Bose's QC35s or even the Sennheiser Momentums on a plane - these would be a decent non-ANC alternative.
Like most closed headphones the soundstage is a bit lacking and muddied, but like many planar magnetic headphones the detail is very crisp and clear - and obviously these phones are very fast. The EQ I applied (based on oratory1990's defaults) reduced bass, a tiny bit of sub-bass, lower midrange a bit - but boosted the upper midrange. As someone with ears sensitive to treble I reduced 20khz by a bit more than recommended.
Overall fun headphones with decent overall quality for closed-backs, and quality that is normally not available in such a portable offering.
Disclaimer: after ~8 months or so the one clip on the strap just snapped - had to have it repaired via Thomann's RMA process.
