Major issue with DSP.

This box boasts great specs and seems likes a steal but unfortunately its a great example of "You pay for what you get".

Was looking for something to replace my JBL EON 12'S as they were getting a bit tired after four years.

Since these DR115's were new to the market I said I would give them a shot (Honestly never do that). Trying them out for the first time with a very low input from my decks and the speakers DSP was displaying "LIMIT" constantly. There is a major issue with the software built into these boxes. I don't know how it got passed testing. I'm not the only one experiencing this either. Reviews are beginning to pop up online of others having the same issue's as I did.

I do not recommend this speaker. If you are looking for something similar in price I reckon 'the box pro DSP 115' would be a good pick due to its unbelievable reviews!

Very loud speaker

We are playing in a band very loud music and we needed in a loud source of sound to sing. And this speaker is really nice! Good quality, vocal cuts through the mix. Thank you, Thomann!

Best ever possible at this price!
Best quality sound than all other speakers at same price.
Bit problems with DSP, just flashing LIMIT but not reduce the volume.

Good but not great

The speakers are BIG and Heavy compared to the past generation. The DSP in them doesn't do much, just a few audio modes and some basic 3-band EQ. The fact that they have Bluetooth makes them a great option for real houses and the general consumer. Overall, the sound is great and the price is low. Paired with an 18" Sub to take the bass load of them, you can do some pretty solid work.

Excellent Quality for its price!

Awesome sounding speaker with clear sound. Although, it keeps hitting "LIMIT" even if my mixer is turn down, and I do not clip. I am not sure if it is an internal software problem or just unlucky with the unit I received. Overall, it is a great product for its price and sounds amazing!

Very loud speaker

If you use external DSP this speaker can be a very good buy for you. I bought 6 of these speakers for the club and they rock. I can confirm that they are 136db. I set the crossover on 150hz on the external DSP (The t.racks DSP 204).

I work in free time like DJ,already own dB Opera 15",and now BehringerDR115 DSP.I think Behringer is perfect choice for this amount of money,very good sound,solid bass.
