Good value for money
Bought these stick a while back just for practicing around and for an emergency backup.
Not the strongest of sticks I've ever bought but they do their job.
They are ideal for light playing or for playing an electronic kit or just for practicing with a drum pad.
You wouldn't want to gig with these so frequently cause i ended up almost breaking them in one month of utilize (harsh player experience).
Overall these sticks has a great look with their black finish a good grip with a great balance.
Highly recommend expecially for beginners.

Good sticks
Use them for Electronic drumming, Pads.. Looks and feels nice and have a good rebound.. 5A / 5B would be far too heavy for hitting pads , me think :) Recommendable

So, they look cool, and they are pretty decent...
Not bad sticks, I don't use 7a's anymore, but I remember being pretty happy when I got them. I mean, They look awesome, there's no denying that, and they play pretty well. The only problem is, the black finish gets eroded slowly as you play, especially when it comes to the high hat. I guess if you play jazz, these sticks will pretty much stay a solid black.
Anyways, good sticks, and a good idea behind them, but you can get better quality sticks for a similar price, so keep that in mind.

Good quality but too much paint
These sticks have the quality you would expect from Vic Firth but the added paint make them slippy in the hand and also badly marks the snare drum head. Given that they cost about half the price of most other good Vic stick they still make great value for money but you might also need stick grip to use them.
If you want to keep your drum heads clean of paint marks you could always take off some of the paint from the tips but that's a lot of effort. Not my favourite choice but not a bad stick if you can't afford or like Firths more expensive alternatives

unbreakable great stick!
I was never able to break one, however, I play metal... The stick has a great look with the black finish, good grip, great balance. very satisfied with it. I definitely will stay a fan of Vic Firth.

bang for the bug
these are sub-zero cool looking Sticks!
they are very slim and light, like they should if you buy this size of stick. Mine were perfectly straight and well balanced when they came here (now they probably are not)

Flimsy sticks
Nice & light plus sticks look great but sadly don't seem to last very long. Teenage daughter managed to break a pair within 24 hours! Would advise not to use them on an electric kit with mesh heads as the black dye marks the heads quite badly.
