T5Z Classic by TAYLOR
Gilbert506, 15.03.2017
After mature reflection, I finally decided to offer myself
This guitar, I play in a folk training for 11 years
On an old but excellent Takamine classic, and I was a little afraid of the change !!!
Ok it is still a sacred change, it is light, sticks perfectly to the body, the handle is simply divine, I had nylon strings, my fingers had to get used to metal, but otherwise what playability , What flexibility we slip on this handle, fine and fast, as for the microphones,
It's just superb, I have a rolland ac 60, there is no need for much else ...
Still not tried to effect pedals, besides if someone has pipes on pedals well suited I am taker,
I am very satisfied with this purchase, and I would also like to thank the person with whom I communicated with thomann, for his professionalism and his kindness, I hesitated with a model above, but honestly, it is really worth a deviation !!

The ultimate instrument !!
AndUna, 08.05.2017
An incredibly versatile guitar that covers all my needs for guitars, I play everything from Djangostyle, Blues & Rock and Jazz. It is very well built, balanced and extremely easy. The finish is really top class. The surface of the body is like the lightest peach (without its clever inner breath) the neck smooth with large jumbo ties that make it very easy to play. But the best thing in my opinion is that it is so small and handy with low weight. No problem with your neck or something else to stand an evening with this guitar. I have more than 45 years of experience in guitar playing in its various forms and after playing for this Taylor T5z for 8 months, I think it's the ultimate guitar for me.
In the first position, the acoustic sensor is connected with the humbucker (hidden under the throat), where it sounds like a Taylor will do, anything from a bass guitar to the most crispy acoustic tone you want. This is thanks to the highly efficient tonal controls. They have a really real range.
The Humbucker mode gives a soft, beautiful jazz tone, which you fine-tune quickly and accurately with tone controls. Their location is smart when you really see what they put on. Again, I want to emphasize the super efficient tonal checks.
The middle position gives a fenderlike sound with a big bottom and a beautiful crisp on the top.
The two remaining positions are the single-coil piece, one of which is phase-wise, but both give good pressure in rock solona.
I use a Bose 10 when I play Djangostyle, a Vox AC 50 cp2 for Blues and rock as well as a Fender Blues de luxe reissue for jazz.
In summary, I think that T5Z is one of the most successful hybrids available on the market right now (within reasonable price) for my part replacing my Djangogitarr, Ibanez George Benson and VOX SDC-77.
