Well.. we happened to buy one of these just because one of the sax mikes had a problem and we hoped is the mic capsule - which was not the case! I am not sure on what conditions these capsules get busted, but they are very strong and deliver superb sound! We have them on the sax and sub kick and they work beautiful!
