Well made
Seems durable, decent quality! Has worked fine for a great number of shows.
I use it for smaller theater shows at schools, hooked up to two stairville octagon LED lamps and a 6-channel DMX controller. Never had any problems, and don't think there could be any trouble in this situation. As most cheaper cables it has quite small loops and tends to get curly, but it's really alright if you lay them out well and pack them up right. I could imagine that the build is not up for heavy outside use or other special conditions.
PRO:
- Cheap, and cheaper than most alternatives with the same quality
- decent components, don't expect anything super fancy though
- perfect for any DMX setup
- as any DMX, can be used as xlr replacement when in need
CONS
- As most cheaper cables it has quite small loops and tends to get curly
- If not cared for, these could wear out faster than high-end cables
Conclusion: perfect for the price and most situations where you would need a 3 pin DMX of 5 meters. If you need anything extremely trustworthy, go for something stronger, and thicker.

Nice and compact
We use these cables in our mobile lighting setup.
It's smaller crossection makes them easy to adjust and strap to our stands, and all black blends in nicely with the rest of the rig.
Decent quality connectors.

It's okay - that is, for a cable!
I use this to connect a MyDMX 3.0 to a Multi FX Bar and it works just fine. It's plenty long enough and the build quality seems okay.
The connections are okay and seem to fit but they don't clip to the ports like they should? I'm not too fussed by this as the signal is still transferred properly.
The cable itself is thick enough to prevent accidental tearing or squishing which is great!
I would recommend this as it's a brilliant little cable!

Good quality as expected
As I would normally expect from a Thomann own brand item, this dmx cable is built of excellent quality, yet is not expensive whatsoever. The cable itself is reasonably thick without being stiff, and seems like it would be difficult to break (unlike some flimsier and much thinner DMX cables in this price range). The connectors at both ends are solidly built, and although not the top quality of Neutrik or the likes, these seem as though they will last and certainly transmit DMX signal as expected. The fact the connectors are black make these dmx cables easy to distinguish from our XLRs which have silver connectors.
