Great Jazz III style picks
I've been a Jazz III user for a few years now and began to feel like I was struggling due to them being just that little too small. So I tried these on the off chance as they are slightly bigger, I'm glad I did as these are now my go to pick.
Great feeling, grippy, perfect size and weight, they are also more durable than the red Jazz III's, on a par with the Ultex ones but with more feel when you play. They come in a variety of gauges too, although none the same thickness as a Jazz III the heavy and X heavy are pretty close.
Worth a shot if you fancy something similar to a Jazz III but fancy a change.

Good pics in all criteria
First I have to say that I use the picks for Bass. After a lot of testing, I finally decided for the Planet Waves 3DBK6-10 Bk Ice Picks Heavy with the 1,1mm gauge.
Grip: The picks don?t slip out of my fingers, even when my fingers are sweaty. A big plus!
Durability: Can?t say a lot about the durability, because I don?t play with the pick consistently. But by now, I never had to replace when because it got broken etc. I just have to replace from time to time because they got lost in my pockets ;) So far another plus!
Size/Quality: Besides the good durability and grip, I like the picks because of its size. It slightly bigger than the other picks I used, which really helps with the grip.

Small, Hard, Precise, Durable
I I use these picks for over 5 years now and they're always a pleasure to use. They have excellent grip and even the 1mm ones are very stiff.

My choice #1 picks
I've spent quite a lot of time looking for my perfect picks. I used to play with 0.7 mm plectrums but my guitar tutor urged me to try others and find the best. After the series of try-outs I stopped on Black Ice Heavy (1.10 mm). It has a perfect match of caliber, the size and material softness which allows me to vary my picking style easily. On the other hand one should consider their tend to wear out quite quickly comparing to rivals. So if you're going to buy them ? you better buy a set instead of single piece.
Definitely worth trying anyway.

My new fav
I was never a fan of standard size picks and Jazz ones are a bit too small - Black Ice ones are perfectly in between size-wise. They are comfy and pretty sturdy, couldn't expect more:)

Great pick but slippery
Gives really smooth, good tone without the "icepicky" attack most other picks tend to exhibit. Only drawback is that they get slippery over time (most picks do right?). But I consider this an important issue and it's essential for a pick to be able to deal with sweaty fingers. I drill small holes where I pinch area is. This helps somewhat.

Great Picks
My favourite picks for most uses used to be Dunlop Jazz III XL, but since discovering these I prefer them in almost every way:
-The slightly smaller size suits my playing style better
-Pick edge is much nicer out of the box
-Slightly better grip
For anyone who likes Jazz III's or thick picks in general, these are a great choice
