So far completely child proof!
I bought these for my son's Thomann Harley Benton mini-strat and they work a treat.
Having on my son's guitar is a very good test for their ability to fulfill their purpose.
With my son walking around the house equipped with guitar, bashing the doors, cabinets, table etc. the locks show no sign of coming loose or coming off completely. If they can survive this then they can pretty much survive anything.
Would I be happy to put these on my 1000¤ guitars ...... maybe not (but than anyone is asking for trouble putting 5¤ strap locks on expensive guitars), I might go for something a little more substantial, but saying that they are not much different to the more expensive brands.
Once screwed onto the strap and the other part replacing the existing strap buttons with lock together pretty good. I put on another large washer on the strap part to have more grip either side of the strap and this made a much better gripping surface.
For the price, 'you pays your money, you takes your choice'. They are nice strap locks, do what they are supposed to do, but might not put them on the guitars which I would never forgive myself it they ended up on the floor.
All in all nice strap lock.

Better than River/rainforest site
feel much more secure than the ones I got from river/rainforest site, Harley Benton seems a good brand for quality and price, easy install on guitar and straps.
Would be good if Thomann supplied just the strap locks and strap buttons separately so you could fit the buttons to several guitars and just change the strap around.

Shiny little pieces
I was really tired of guitars falling down and being damaged on stage or at home just because of a lose strap. So I decided to look for some security locks for my electric guitars. These Harley Bentons were actually the most reasonable priced I could find, but they actually looked also quite promising. I prefer nickel, because they fit perfectly to my nickel Kluson tuners. These Harley Benton security locks do exactly what they are meant for: easy to install, though the screws are a bit shorter than the ones I used before. Just use the old screws. Very nice cratftsmanship, shiny and clean surfaces? The spring in the locking mechanism is just tight enough to keep the two parts together, but also not too difficult to unlock. So it is also easy to switch between my two guitars by using one (my favourite) strap.
So, I really recommend these Harley Benton Security Locks NI. The best price value ratio you can get.

Very convenient for this money.
These straplocks do not stand out except for their price. They are strong, they are reliable, they are beautiful and all this for a cheap price. The only thing is, I replaced the soft gasket under the nut because of its black color. Otherwise, this thing is just awesome. I can not advise this product for everyone who is afraid for their guitar.

Cheap and useful
It's too easy to mount and take the fear away.

Sturdy
Easy to fit and everyone should use them instead of picking up a dented guitar from the floor. I bought a 10mm leather punch to make the strap hole the right size which helps. They feel solid when installed and go on easier than the main other brand.

Great quality
Great quality. look nice, feel nice, and work great. I ordered multilpe for my colleciton of guitars.
I was unlucky with one of them, that didn't work out of the box. But as usual Thomann replaced it very quickly. I think it was a one off, and don't think it would happen very often.
HB quality controll is very decent :) can recommend you try these out.
