Quality pick for jazz
I use these picks with ES175 type hollowbody guitars, playing Be-bop, Gypsy and smooth type jazz.
These picks are very substantial feeling at 3mm, but one side has a nice feeling thumb indent. Overall it may be worth trying a number of these picks, as the have a range of different styles, some with a sharper pick edge, whereas this one obviously has a fairly blunt pick edge.
Relatively expensive, so you end up looking after them slightly better - I haven't lost one yet!!

Dunlop Primetone Pick 3mm L
I use this pick for gypsy jazz playing and it's perfect for that. It's got enough thickness to get that aggressive sharp sound. Due to its shape it works very good for sweep-ish runs (it's not "sharp" like most other picks) and the little cavity gives provides a firm grip.

Good for gypsy jazz
Good picks for gypsy and manouche, and overall jazz stuff. The only negative is the cavity on one side, which doesnt help to grip better.
