Roaring Pocket Synth
ecave 24.12.2023
I really like these small-footprint synth ever since I discovered the Volcas way back when. Their limitations can be a source of creativity and are a lot more fun than scrolling through the endless preset lists of software plugins.
So a decade after Korg introduced their range, Behringer enters the ring with their Minis and Micros.

Not much bigger than your average hand, it still sounds powerful and crisp. Having basically only two control pots, it requires a bit of menu diving to edit the sounds, but especially after the recent firmware update I haven't got any complaints in that regard.
The lack of a Midi In jack in whatever form is a bit of a bummer, but the fact that such a device costs only €49 in 2023/2024 is astonishing to say the least.

Great little synth
Mario Cybx 07.03.2024
Bought for toying around but all ready used it in a proDiction and integrated it into my liveset. All your favorites from the 90s dance era.
Tiny buttons that feel like they could die on you first touch but it’s actually surprisingly well built. Love it

G
Top Synth für den Preis
GiKR 02.02.2024

L
Nice little synth!
LukeEdward 19.12.2023
Great sound for such a tiny thing! It’s a bit menu divey, but to be expected given the size. I’m loving using my iPad as a sequencer with it.

Connectivity is limited with just USB C, which is a shame, but perfectly usable! Knobs are also a bit flimsy, but again still usable.

It might look like a toy, but I can see myself using this in productions. For £50 you can’t really go wrong!
