Huge DC offset
– There is a huge -38dB loud DC offset. I tried three different units and all have the same problem.
– The capsule is very sensitive to plosives and breath sounds in the sub bass region, so close range recording is harder than with better microphones. This is possibly due to the DC offset.
– For the above mentioned reasons a low cut EQ in the signal chain before recording is a must.
