Robust Cello Case
I got this case for my childs 3/4 Cello (after one Cello was destroyed in another manufacturers case...). The case is solid and the thick hard foam is surprisingly strong, compared to the weight and price of the case. The small wheels are Ok for indoor use, but most outdoor surfaces are too rough for them. Well, that is why it has the carrying straps.
The case stands upright properly - it does not fall over by itself. Left in the corner of the room, it will not fall over without significant provocation.
The thickness of the foam does mean that the case takes more space and is more difficult to lug around. To me, this is a reasonable compromise between protection and handling.
