Rohema Tango Hickory lacquer finish

These are great light weight drumsticks for low volume gigs or practice sessions. They don't seem to break too easily as some might think. Only the tips on mine have chipped a bit but it's not unlike any of the other drumsticks I've used. Great for any low volume music playing, styles ranging from jazz to light rock or indie, not just tango.

Due to the thinness at the end of the stick it seems like they have a more responsive effect on high cymbal frequencies at least to my ears. So it might be wise to use them with cympads to better dampen cymbals, if lower volume playing is really what you're going for. I think I'll try lighter maple sticks for a change next time I need sticks for lighter playing, but these at least seem to last well. I might buy them again in the future.
