Roadworx Microphone Arm

This Mic-arm is very infuriating to deal with, the screws need to be screwed to the absolute maximum position before the arm starts to hold its position, the screws have plastic "hand" screwers on top of them which literally broke before I could even get the screws to maximum position. Friend advised me to just get a more expensive arm if I don't want to get similar experience in the future.

I was using this for a Rode NT-1 and the arm just randomly snapped and broke while I wasn't even touching it. Gave me a fun jump scare, that's for sure.

I have never seen something look so sturdy and be so frail as this. Besides, it latches poorly onto a studio desk, is difficult and clearly not designed to be moved at a risk of falling off the table where it is attached if even rotated to the left/right, to move the microphone temporarily out of the way.

Will look at the other microphone arms that hopefully function better and only cost a few euros more.

Kiristysmahdollisuudet eivät tunnu lainkaan riittävän Shure SM7B:lle.

Boom arm on hyvä laatunen ja tykkään kaapeli vakosesta johon saa xlr piuhan nätisti piilotettua.
Itse käytän puristuskiinnitystä, mutta on mahdollisuus myös porata reikä pöytään ja siihen kiinni.
Säädöt ovat tarpeeksi hyvät normaali painoisille mikrophoneille, mutta tässä tuleekin minun ongelmani vastaan.
Tuote ohjeissa ei ollut info kiristämisestä joten olin hetken aikaan hukassa että miten ne kiristettiin oikein.
Minulla on käytössä Shuren SM7B ja boom armi justiinsa pystyy pitämään mikin paikallaan. Yhtään lisä painoa ja mikki valuu alas.

Shure sm7b:n kanssa toimii kuin nenä päähän, pysyyy paikallaan ja on helposti liikuteltavissa.
