Millenium Wall Rack 4

I bought these to mount servers on the wall. Simple design and seem to hold up nicely for full length server cases (almost total of 60kg). On that note these also are really nice for switches and such and the price can't be beat comparing to IT-vendor prices. Steel is thick enough and as you mount your equipment it gets even sturdier. Finish is great without any sharp edges. I like how they have cage nut holes on both sides so you have different mounting options, like you can drop in a switch in reverse with the servers without much protrusion and get connectors in more sensible way. They have "keyhole" mounting on the open side and relatively large holes on the other side. I did my mounting on the larger holes so I don't have to drop my equipment in from the above. Seems to work just fine. I've used one to mount few rack preamps under the desk so that application works well too. Uses are endless for these. Note that these are available in 1-4U sizes. Going to order more in the future for my special racking needs.

I am not currently using these exactly as intended, i.e., on a wall: they are standing on my desk with my turntables and mixer; against the wall, but not fixed to it. I bought two and have stacked them on top of each other, one 'n' shape on top of another. The upper one has my only effects unit screwed into it (the recommended screws and nuts work perfectly). This means that the effects unit is at a perfect height while I'm mixing. Sitting on top are an audio interface and loops unit (held in place with blu-tack). On the lower one is my plug adapter with everything plugged into it, also held in place with blu-tack. It's a very cheap and cheerful solution to getting wires and cables off my desk and having a proper home for my effects unit. In future I may screw it into the wall properly, but for now I'm happy. They are very reasonably made for the price and I would buy more.
