Drum microphones
Using this for microphones recording drums.
Cons: Normal mics are too heavy for it, the gooseneck can tear off and you have to glue it back. It wasn't glued at all originally!
The rubber insulation in the clamp tends to slip away.
Pros: No external noise goes through the arms. Normal weight mics can be used if adjusted "hanging" i.e. not relying it to hold erected.
Locking screw is plastic but can be tightened very hard and holds eternally.
These are obviously build for lightweight mics, if bearing this in mind a safe purchase.
