Good for beginner or intermediate pianist.
I bought this for my 7-year-old when he started taking piano lessons. We've both played the piano almost daily for about 5 months. The overall quality, feel and sound(s) are great for this price range. Speakers are small so they won't be enough in a noisy area. Fortunately there is a line out for PA-systems and recording for those who need it. The damper that comes with the piano is a plastic toy. For home use you should buy the Kawai HML-2 B Stand and the Kawai F-351 B pedal unit. The pedal units' pedals are great. There are not many different features and if you dont use them a lot you need to check the manual to see which key combinations you should press.
