Höfner Shorty BL

I didn't expect too much considering the price of the guitar but the build quality still didn't meet my expectations. The neck and in particular the frets were very sensitive to variation in air humidity and would gradually move out from the fretboard so that the playability would suffer / cause buzz against the frets. Very high string action was necessary until I finally refretted the guitar. I bought mine in 2012 so the quality might have improved after that. I can not recommend this guitar based on my experiences.

The quitar is fine, if you don't need to use an amplifier as the electronics are not good... With the use of a soldering iron I managed to fix mine.
