Excellent eastern tones for all purposes
I am absolutely stunned by what can be done with this pedal. I've used it both for guitar and bass, and I have to say that for bass it's a great addition for reverb and distortion if you are looking for more aggressive tones with a more eastern twist. On its own though, it is very versatile as well!
With this, I have been able to achieve tones appropriate for Indian music, Middle-eastern / Egyptian music, Far eastern (Chinese/Japanese) music, and I've done all this without using the sympathetic sounds.
However, that is where I've not explored all features of the pedal to their fullest. The handling of this pedal makes it quite hard to manage all the sympathetic sounds, and getting those settings right has often felt like more of a hassle than being worth the effort. Nevertheless, I'm pleased with the handling as setting up a sound that you want is not particularly difficult and once you have what you want, it's ready to go. Setting up presets is an excellent feature for this as well, as once you have what you want you can use those!

As to the quality and looks, it is pure 100% EXH excellence. Rigidly built and (kinda) pretty.
Beware though, this in no plug-n-play pedal. If you want decent tones it takes quite a bit of fussing around and experimenting. The box has A LOT of options and tonal variations and IT WILL NOT just play those George Harrison chants without tweaking the knobs considerably.
But in conclusion, this is very nice and versatile piece of pedal magic hat will certainly be money?s worth to anyone willing to invest some time to understading the inner workings of the pedal.
