Needs a bit sharpening to shine
I've previously bought chicken picks' badazz pick and liked the clear attack it provided and durability of the material, but felt it was bit slobby due to it's size as I'm used to "standard" shaped picks. I decided to give this a go, but didn't find the tip to be satisfactory, it's too round and to me it felt slobby and dull, so as it is it wasn't satisfactory to me as I was suspecting.
BUT. I sanded down the tip to make it sharp much like dunlop sharps, and beveled the sanded edges much like they were originally and now the pick really shines. After modding it the sound has alot of clarity and control feels really nice. I hope sanding it doesn't compromise the durability of the material, as with the other pick it was superb.
Edit: after about a month, the pick seems to wear out bit slower than my other picks. As for playability, I'm not completelly sure which is better, this or thinner picks, I tend to switch back and fort when I get too use to one or the other. These definitelly atleast have more clarity to the attack.
