Der beste 259-Klon in Eurorack

Wer auf der Suche nach dem typischen Sound vom Buchla 259 Oszillator ist, ist hier genau richtig. Es gibt zwar viele Oszillatoren, die konzeptionell ähnlich sind, aber keiner der üblichen Verdächtigen (DPO, Furtherrrr, etc.) kommt so nah an den Sound wie der Verbos Complex Oscillator. Der Grundsound kommt einem Buchla-Nutzer sofort bekannt vor und die Waveshaping-Sektion klingt einfach fantastisch.

Kleinere Abzüge in den Features gibt es für diverse in meinen Augen etwas fragwürdige Designentscheidungen: Unipolare exponentielle FM im Modulationsbus sorgt dafür, dass eine Änderung der Modulationstiefe die Stimmung des Oszillators verändert und der Modulationsoszillator ist auf einen eher niedrigen Frequenzbereich beschränkt (weit in den Audiobereich hinein, aber er kommt eben nicht so hoch wie der Carrier).

Die Verarbeitung ist ausgesprochen gut. Wenige Eurorack-Module fühlen sich so wertig an, wie die von Verbos.

Great sounding oscillator

This was my first dual oscillator, and it's a great one! Vintage tone and a wavefolder section to die for. I've heard that Verbos used to have quality issues, but the build is solid, especially compared to a lot of other eurorack.

Pair it with a good low pass gate and lots of mod sources and you are good to go!
