The wooden handle is what wins me over with this mallet! Many manufacturers make the handle from plastic that feels very cheap, these are much nicer to hold.

This particular size is good for any singing bowl up until like 12–14” diameter. Above those sizes, I would choose a larger mallet both is thickness as well as length.

Better than the bundled mallet, this one is small and feels nice to hold. Works really well rubbing smaller bowls.
