Good but flawed
A big improvement tonally over felt mallets which are too audible IMO. My mallet has an invisible hard/sharp point on it, which sounds horrible if you make contact with it. I had to put a marker spot on the bad side so to avoid it during a session. Probably just a manufacturing flaw. but I don't know how common it might be, Also the handle could do with being a little longer. Its cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Very useful small mallet
These are so useful, I've just ordered a second one. It weighs about 65g and has a 50mm head and a fairly short handle. The head is quite firm but not hard. It's a great beater for bringing out specific sweet spots on big gongs. The only criticism I have is I wish the handle was longer.

Good one for the start
With a small bowls produce fine gentle sound. With the 32" symphonic gong it goes through as well. You will hear attack on the gong. For the starters I would recommend it.

Good quality product
Well made and good quality. Not my personal favourites. I use these as a gong mallet now.
