Slippery...
Very small (+ and -), VERY slippery (-). What could you expect for that money. Easy to take anywhere, better than hitting the table but 4" is quite small ti hit precisely and unfortunately it is very slippery. I'm getting the Meinl Marshmallow pad now (12", quiet!)

It works perfect
It is small just consider that

Glides easily
It works but it's quite small so you have to have good accuracy to use it and it also glides when you hit it, but if you tape it down to a surface it stays in place.
