Almost the perfect midi controller
It is a very powerful controller, I used it with fl studio and to control synths. It's small, well built and easy to set with the novation components software. I wish it had led rings around each encoder.

Amazing connectivity
We are talking about a serious, sturdy and highly effective controller. It connects quite fast to logic pro, which is rare nowadays because all companies seem to manufacture everything thinking about Ableton.
It looks sleek, is super easy to manage and, obviously, very useful not only for live performances but also to work with your DAW.

Amazing MIDI Mixer
The amount of customizability of the Novation Launch Control XL 3 is honestly amazing. It allows you to break away from the standard 0 - 127 (7 bit) values to 14 bit, which goes a little beyond 16000. Also the way it works together with Ableton (haven't tested other DAW's yet) is just beautiful. You don't need to map anything and it just works. The rotary encoders are a little stiff which I don't mind since rotating harder increases values exponentially. All in all an excellent product by Novation, not that I would expect anything different from them.

Excellent Controller for Hybrid Live Performance
I've been extremely happy with the Launch Control XL 3. The build quality is excellent, the faders and knobs feel smooth and precise, and the overall workflow is a huge improvement over previous controllers I've used. It integrates perfectly with Ableton Live and gives me hands-on control over my hybrid live performances without needing to touch the computer constantly.
