Not for bass
Plick, 11.06.2020
I wanted a simple stand for my guitars and I didn't want to break the bank with this, so I went after this Thomann product, as I trust the brand. For other prodcuts is great.

My surprise came when I started to use this stand indistinctly for solid electric guitar (standard weight), acoustic guitar and bass (heavy). After some days of normal to caring use at home I realise in the floor there were this bits of black plastic scattered, so I examined the bass. It was ok, but the stand was crumbling.

The plastic piece which keep the arms of the base together, where the hinge is, was completely cracked and the rubber piece which touches the instruments didn't fit anymore, so it just fell.

My solution came with duct tape all around the cracked piece, but I didn't expect that. So from now on I will only use it for non-heavy guitars (product is still usable but uglier and with duct tape as finish...) and the bass will rest in a more sturdy stand by another brand.

I'll go for a bit more expensive one next time just to guarantee the quality I need.

If you need something cheap for light weight guitars and delicate use, this is definetely your stand, lucky you.

But if you will use it for professional purposes, heavy instruments and continuous rough use, you must spend more money in a quality
and reliable stand.

I definitely recommend this stand. It's lightweight while build quality seems to be fine enough, holds guitars very well. It can be folded and so you can take it anywhere with ease.

Will do the job
Guilherme Mello, 25.11.2020
It's a very well built guitar stand, for acoustic and electric. It'll do the job without rip you off. No point to pay a lot more for fancy ones, go grab one of those and spend the difference in another thing.

For the price - this is a no brainer
CelticLoops , 17.02.2020
Im from Ireland living in Belgium.

I bought a second set up for over in Belgium, and I tried to do so on a budget. This was past of the set up. I was on the fence at first due to the price. And I have been happily proven right to have chosen this. I use it for storing my Epiphone semi acoustic (also from Thomann).

Quality is spot on. Sturdy, looks nice, cost effective. For this price - this is a no brainer.

acoustic guitar stand
kevi, 19.02.2018
An item with pros and cons.
Pros
It quite a nice looking piece of kit.
It's lightweight and compact.
It takes 1 second to erect it or fold it away.
It fits the guitar quite well.

Cons
If you plug your guitar in from the bottom beware. Remove the cable before you put the guitar in the stand because the arms are positioned too low and you may damage the cable. The arms should be set at least 2-3 cm higher to prevent damage.

Although it is reasonably stable in the home I do not use it where my cats can play.
Last week I played an outside gig and the wind blew causing it, and my guitar to fall forward to the ground. Result - 1 broken string, chipping and damage to the front of my unbound Martin, a decent size chip on the neck and a smashed top nut. Thankfully I always take 2 guitars to gigs.

A1+.
mddwoody, 14.11.2014
I rate the: Millenium GS-2001 A; as A1+. Firstly it serves the function as an acoustic guitar stand perfectly. It cradles the guitar safely, & it is very stable. It is is easy to use, is small, light in weight & folds flat for storage, or transportation. The Item listing states that it's not recommended for guitars with nitro lacquer, but we've purchased a number of them & had no problems. All-In-All I think the: Millenium GS-2001 A; as a Guitar Stand is A1+, Why Pay More.

Keep On Rockin', mddwoody.

It's a guitar stand. It stands guitar. :D

If you have too many guitars, you'll need a bigger one.

Needs A Softer Back Support
Kevin Lyons , 20.01.2020
The plastic part at the hinge where the back of the guitar rests against is very hard and has already rubbed marks into the back of my guitar. I had to place a sock over the hard plastic to protect my guitar. Needs to be foam or something softer than the hard brittle plastic.

Perfect for my needs!
Tofol, 14.12.2017
I bought this Acoustic Guitar stand as I need something sturdy and strong yet light enough to carry. Well built and robust enough to use both at home and when playing on stage in a live situation.

I wanted a Guitar stand that was safe and reliable, one that wasn't too bulky and could be folded away and transported easily and this product ticks all the boxes for me.
For this price, I don't think you will find anything better!

Pros:
- Strong, stable Design, Well balanced & safe.
- Can accomodate larger Acoustic guitars as well as Mandolin or smaller instruments.
- Nice & Light to carry, or folds away into rucksack.
- Excellent at this price.

Cons:
- Only one little annoying thing. The word MILLENIUM emblazoned on the side, but that's a small detail......
