Markbass CMD JB Players School Combo

Bought this little amp because I had read how light it was and at 64 years old humping bass amps around gets difficult. It arrived as I was off on holiday so never got a chance to use it until I was gigging the night after I returned. The sound was better than any I had used before and I had to turn the volume down several times to be compatible with the bass drum. Other band members commented on how powerful it sounded. I carried it in one handed (even at my age ). Well done Markbass and well done Thomann for selling it to me at a price MUCH cheaper than anywhere else. Now, where can I find a cover for it before the cat gets its claws on it ?

A great combo for a great sound: this is the summary review of this combo. Used in a open air live gig: precise sound, deep bass, perfect signal out from the DI for the pa system. All the controls set in the flat position, the volume 2/3, sensitivity 1/2. Bass played a Fender Jazz 5, string scaled 135 - 50. On the stage sound perfect at a distance of 5 meters: no noise, perfect tone controls, loud and clear, the volume of sound is much more than the declared 150 watts. Coupled with a mark Bass 15 inch cabinet the total volume is enormous, but always clear and precise. In spite of a modest price, it is one of the best bass combo I ever used.
