great sound but....

They have a great sound. Full round sound and the response is excellent.
BUT in a pack of 5 only 2 will be excellent. Some break after 5 minutes but to be fair that also happens with other daddario reeds too. Some are really muddy and they need a not of fixing with sandpaper or the reedgeek.

2.5 is a bit too hard for me - I find it difficult to avoid squeaking, but these are good reeds. Relatively dark and quite rich sound. Quality seems pretty consistent for natural wooden reed but the tip is fragile.
