Just not as good as the original Fodera strings

Hate to say this as I think DR make great strings, for a certain sound (high beam for slap as an example). I truly loved the Fodera made strings, they had the perfect mid focus and lasted.
The DR made strings don't have the same mid tone, but in recording you can recover from that - my main complaint is that the tone does not last. I could keep the old Fodera strings on for 4-6 months depending on use but the new ones died in a month and at this price that just doesn't work.
Guess I'll be doing a string evaluation test again
