This was a good move for me

I have been using coated string for the last couple of years since restarting with the guitar. I’m really happy with the Daddario XSABR1256 strings.
I feel I get a really full sound with the thicker base strings on my Yamaha LL TA that was already fantastic with coated strings from another make.
Im not an expert and as a baby boomer my hearing is not what it was when I was 20. That said for at least these first couple of weeks I like the rounded but sparkly rather than the for me somewhat jingly from the strings I have had before when new. Maybe this has something more to do with the thicker gauge base strings.
At the moment I have no reason to extend my search further to better what I have now.
