Fine reeds, just don't suit my mouthpiece
scottley 31.05.2017
tried these reeds in no2 strength for my 1974 yamaha yas21 on a meyer g 5 mouthpiece. Ok, but i got a little warbling on anything below a low d, and the high palm key notes were a bit stiff to hit. that could be my technique but i really had to move around the reed to get the warble to stop coming through.
So in an effort to tame the palm keys i bought some Green unfiled java's in the same strength, no2's, and I really do get on with these. No warble in the low notes, and a smoother high d on the palm key. Much happier with these, the unfiled slightly softer greens really do compliment the meyer g 5 mouthpiece. Nothing wrong with the quality of the Reds.. just didn't work out for me.

My current fave
Klim 07.12.2020
Most people don't play on 2s but I keep coming back to it because I have long multi hour sessions and I find that this can get me through. Sometimes I may play up to 6hrs and anything harder will wear my lips out completely. These I can get up and running right away.

P
good response than other
Pranshu 12.06.2015
This reed is indeed a bit better than others. The response I get from this is good, though there is not much difference between sound when compared with the green vandoren 2 but as a player one could easily find a difference while playing the sax.

Really good reed
SaxSam 02.11.2020
I bought it for playing with a Vandoren V5 A55 mouthpiece; it is very easy to play, I feel it is a little bit thicker than the Vandoren ZZ of the same size, and has a lightly clearer sound. I found it a really good reed. I totally recommend it.
