I'm really impressed with this passive controller. The build quality is excellent, it feels sturdy, and it doesn't introduce any noise or distortion that I can discern. The gain knob feels smooth and even across its entire range, and the switches don't add any pops when toggled.

I paired this unit with M-Audio BX5's which have inaccessible volume controls on the rear, and a Zoom H6 which acts as my audio interface, neither of which gave me the instant control I needed. Its a really well put together basic unit if like me you didn't need anything fancy, and the price really reflects this.

The only minor grievance I have is that the indicator on the main control knob is on the side - and because the unit is slightly sloped it is often difficult to determine its position from the 9 to 3 o'clock position. I remedied this by simply adding a mark to the top of the knob so I could see it in all positions.

So, this is the simple device, which is conceived to do the simple job - adjust the volume of active speakers. The box is sturdy, everything looks good and reliable. I also noticed no sound coloration or any other issues.

Pros
TRS outputs - I like them, because my both audio interfaced has the same, and thus, when changind setup I can reuse my cables+connectors.
Sturdyness and simplicity
Hybrid inputs (TRS/XLR) - great universal solution.
I like the design as well. Also, would appreciate a white/silver version.

Cons
Well, actually nothing, except the volume knob is a bit too firm while adjusting.

Worth the money!

All i wanted was a simple master volume for my desktop, I got more. The mono feature is nice to see if my mixes are good there as well without having to open another plugin to check, now I can just flick the switch and check and move on.

The mute function has also been VERY useful. In my days i have had several times where my pc or mac just makes a super loud noise from nothing, so to be able to reliably mute the audio without software and it just work, Priceless! Well it does cost 375 SWE KR, but definetly worth the money.
