Do not let the price of this one fool you, you get a lot for the money.

Sound: The two pickups can be split so the tonal variation is great. The sound is very clear which can be heard even before plugging it in. This one quickly became my main guitar and still is two years later. Both the humbucker and single-coil sounds are really useful with their own identities. The single-coils does not sound like a Fender and the humbuckers does not sound like a Gibson but they have it's own sound which I really like with a clear sound that does not get muddy even with lots of effects and still sounds interresting without effects.

Quality: The quality of the hardware is ok apart from the pickup selector which sometimes glitches. The build of the wood is superb.

Finish: Excelent finish that looks flawless. It looks really cool with the binding and feels like an expensive instrument.

In total: I think this is a very good guitar both for beginners and experienced players. It's easy to play and feels lasting. Like I said, this is my go to guitar. I play music ranging from alternative rock to old style surf rock and it sounds great on this. Have tried to play some metal as well and the pickups can really handle lots of overdrive and still sound defined.

I bought this Hagstrom on Thomann.de some time ago. I was waiting with my opinion untill I will get used to this guitar.
On mid range price, this guitar is just perfect for begginers, and advanced guitarists. Got very unique and clear sound. First of all it got strong sound.
If you play your music on clean sound, you will be supprised of many different sound settings on guitar itself.
If you play Rock / Alternative music, its just discovering another tones and sounds.
If you play Metal ( Black / Tharsh :) ) you will be totaly satisfied of full and rich sound of this guitar. Riff after riff, hipnosis of sound madness will not let you out.
This guitar is very fast, easy to use, comfortable, very light and very ergonomic.
Swedish lads did a very good job !!!

Das hätte ich nicht gedacht! Ich spiele seit Jahren Fender Strat und musste mir auf Grund widriger Umstände eine neue Gitarre zulegen. Da mir das Instrument optisch immer schon zugesagt hat, habe ich bestellt. Nun zur Gitarre. Das Teil ausgepackt und bis auf die eher billig aussehenden Tonabnehmer ein echter Augenschmaus. Sehr gut verarbeitet ohne Tadel! Ok, die Saitenlage war ab Werk etwas hoch eingestellt, aber das kann man richten. Also einfach den Steg tiefergelegt und siehe da, optimale Saitenlage kein Schnarren. Da ich als Linkshänder nicht die riesen Auswahl an Gitarren des gleichen Typs habe, muss ich gestehen, das ist mir noch nie passiert. Ein Gitarre auszupacken, kurz einzustellen und ein perfektes Instrument in der Hand zu halten. Hut ab vor den Schweden! Kurzer Hand in den Proberaum gedüst und das Teil an den Amp angeschlossen (Linde 6 HD50+PodHD). Ich war überrascht wie differenziert das Instrument klingt. Die Gitarre erreicht zwar nicht die Glockenklare Wärme einer Fender und nicht das Volumen einer Gibson. Aber ich glaube, das soll Sie auch nicht. Es ist ein Instrument für sich. Der Sound ist eher hoch/mittig, fast wie bei einer Tele. Auf jeden Fall sind die Saiten gut zueinander abgestimmt. Es entsteht sowohl beim Picking, als auch beim Spielen voller Akkorde der Eindruck, jede Saite differenziert und ohne unterschiede in der Lautstärke zu hören. Sowohl Im Clean und auch im verzerrten Bereich. Im Soli hört man jeden Ton einwandfrei raus.
Das Spielgefühl ist anfangs gewöhnungsbedürftig, für einen Gitarristen der vorzüglich Fender spielt, da die Saiten sich durch die kurze Mensur eher hart anfühlen. Der Hals ist schön schmal und leicht gewölbt auf der Decke. Im allgemeinen fühlt sich die leichte Gitarre sehr verwindungssteif an und ist äußerst Stimmstabil. Die Mechaniken und Podis sind ordentlich ausgeführt. Wie deren Lebensdauer ist, wird die Zeit zeigen. Zusammengefasst ist die Gitarre, meiner Meinung nach, sowohl für Anfänger als auch für Profis geeignet, zumal der Preis unschlagbar ist für ein solch schönes Instrument.
