Un grande classico ma più largo

Superfluo aggiungere qualcosa sul sound e sulla qualità di questo pickup, identico al model 59 tranne che per le misure esterne.
La distanza fra i 6 poli magnetici è maggiorata in modo da potersi meglio adattare alla spaziatura delle corde di ponti tipo Floyd Rose o comunque spaziature più larghe delle Gibson.
Io ad esempio ho scelto questo pickup per la posizione Bridge di una Telecaster Thinline 72 made in Mexico: le repliche Fender vintage hanno una spaziatura fra le corde maggiore delle più recenti standard e qualunque normale humbucker (disegnati per chitarre con spaziatura Gibson, molto più stretta) non sarebbe riuscito ad essere allineato con le due corde più esterne, cosa che invece è riuscita alla grande con questo pickup.

Good sound, sloppy construction

The sound from this pickup in the bridge of my HSS Deluxe Strat is like an angel's raspy scream of rage; full, throaty, warm, and loud. It's a perfect match for the 2 Kinman singles I have, for when I want a more Randy Rhoads / Jimmy Page sort of tone in my music. However, the construction is sloppy; the Chrome Seymour Duncan trembucker cover I purchased would not fit, as the cable lead, the part beneath the cloth winding wraps, bulges out beyond the frame of the pickup. I had to file away at my pickguard some to clear this same sloppy job. I have no doubt it will last, and it sounds great, but be aware SD QC seems to have taken a day off on this one.

Versatile vintage PAF tonality... Choose your strings carefully though

This will get you into genuine PAF territory in guitars made other than of maple-capped mahogany... Scooped in the mids, plenty of bottom and a bit more top end than, say, a Seth Lover. Be aware that it gets closest to the true PAF tone on lighter gauge strings (9s are great) on typical Fender scale length. Seems to have been designed for exactly that purpose... If early Van Halen is what you are after, it's pretty much the ideal choice.
