Seymour Duncan Pegasus Sentient 6 Set Black

pick-up dal sound incredibile, io li ho montati su una epiphone lp standard, non è stata l'unica modifica apportata, ma da quando monta questo set il suono è, ovviamente, totalmente cambiato, il pegasus adatto per sonorità hard rock, heavy metal e se, bravi a giocare con i controlli della vostra pedaliera, riesce a raggiungere anche sonorità piu estreme, mentre il sentient si sente che è stato concepito per qualcosa di più soft, perfetto per il blues, ma molto bene anche su assoli molto distorti.
sinceramente mi sento di consigliarli a chiunque li volesse acquistare. Thomann impeccabile come sempre

Both pickups sound fantastic, really. Note definition in chords is superb and the timbral quality is very pleasant at high distortion, no shrieking. Instead you get a very pleasant and mix-cutting high-end.

The only reason I put 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the pairing of the two pickups.

The Pegasus alone is a fantastic pickup. The Sentient alone is a fantastic pickup. I think that the timbral difference is much too much for them to be a great pair together. They both have their own great sound but switching between them doesn't 'gel' as well as I'd like. The Sentient is much duller and warmer than the Pegasus, although it does sound phenomenal on the clean channel - there is SO MUCH BODY.

I'm still keeping them as they sound infinitely better than my stock pickups, but nevertheless, they sound vastly different when switching between them.

I'm extremely happy with the pickups, and you would be too if you are looking to expand your guitar's timbral pallet. If you are after a neck pickup that delivers incredibly massive clean sounds, and a bridge pickup that will melt your freakin' face off then you should really buy this set. It is really really good and I'm a happy happy guy.

I spent a long time looking for a set of pickups that could offer a wide range of sounds for all the different styles I play and in the end I went for these and I think I made the right decision.

They sound great even when you're strumming chords with high distortion and the clarity of clear sounds is something else. I play a lot of styles from indie, where the neck pick up does an amazing job, especially with split coils and the bridge pick up is really good for heavier stuff. At least from what I've discovered so far.

It's a bit unusual combination of pick ups in my opinion but if you're also someone who doesn't stick to one style of music and likes to experiment with many different sounds then I think they won't disappoint you.

They are a bit expensive but I definitely don't regret buying them.
