Nach wirklich reiflicher Überlegung (und nicht zuletzt Neugier) habe ich mich entschieden, von meinem bisher genutzten Korg Pa 4x Musikant auf den Pa 5x Musikant umzusteigen. Lässt man den vielleicht nicht unerheblichen finanziellen Aufwand für den Umstieg außer Betracht, kann ich nach ein paar Tagen einschätzen, dass es sich absolut gelohnt hat. Die Sounds und Styles entstammen zum großen Teil dem Pa 4x Musikant, klingen jedoch deutlich brillanter und druckvoller. Die Bedienung erscheint mir auf den ersten Blick noch etwas leichter und schlüssiger als beim Vorgängermodell. An die teilweise veränderte Anordnung der Bedienelemente gewöhnt man sich sehr schnell, wobei insbesondere die farbliche Gestaltung der Taster hilfreich ist. Ein wenig vermisse ich die Auswahltaster für die Styles. Aber auch dies ist vermutlich nur eine Frage der Gewohnheit. Die Funktion des Harmonizers sowie der Gitarreneffekte kann ich nicht beurteilen, leider fand ich noch keine Zeit zum Testen. Für mich sowie für diejenigen, welche auf der Suche nach einem absolut gut klingenden und relativ einfach zu handhabenden Keyboard sind, ist der Korg Pa 5x Musikant eine klare Kaufempfehlung.
