Tolles System mit kleinen Problemen

Ich nutze die ES503 für kleinere Akustikevents, Sprachbeschallung und Gala-Events. Daher hab ich auch das weiße Set gekauft, es sieht wirklich edel aus.

Bedienung: Das System kann für den Preis wirklich viel, allerdings bedient man alles über ein einziges Drehrad mit Drückfunktion als Enter. Wenn man sich dran gewöhnt hat ist das kein Problem, besonders schnell ist man damit aber nicht.

Features: Wirklich Stark mit eigenen EQs pro Kanal, Bluetooth eingebaut ohne auf Inputs verzichten zu müssen, mir wären aber 3 identische Eingänge mit der Option, bspw. eine Gitarre und ein Mikrofon anzuschließen. Es gibt allerdings nur 2 Lineinputs und 1 Micinput, zwei weitere Preamps hätten sicherlich nicht geschadet.

Sound: Das System klingt grundlegend nicht schlecht, aber wieviele Säulen oder allgemein Beschallungen in der Preisliga keine kräftigen Mitten und kein besonders gut aufgelöster HF. Aber das ist okay.

Verarbeitung: Der Strukturlack ist wirklich extremst empfindlich. Ich vermute mal, dass Warnex zu teuer dafür war. Selbst mit Tasche transportiere ich das System immer einzeln im Auto irgendwo gepuffert, weil der kleinste Stoß einen Schaden macht. Die Topteile sind aus Plastik, also passt der weißton auch nicht richtig zueinander. Evtl. werde ich nach Ablaufen der Garantie einmal alles mit ordentlichem Lack gleich behandeln.

Fazit: Gutes kompaktes System, etwas empfindlich, tolle Features.
Leider sieht das Speakon nach oben immer etwas doof aus.

In einigen Foren und Facebookgroups liest man von einem Problem, was ich bereits von anderen Db Technologies Produkten kenne: Die verbauten Netzteile in aktiven Produkten scheinen extremst empfindlich auf Feuchtigkeit zu reagieren. Nachdem ich dem etwas nachgegangen bin scheint ein Kleber, der auf dem Netzteil verwendet wird, hygroskopisch zu sein - ich benutze das Teil also ausschließlich indoor...
