Germany's leading string manufacturer Pyramid Strings has developed a signature string set in collaboration with Grave Digger / Domain's guitarist Axel Ritt that has been designed to tailoured to withstand his style of playing. Due to his extremely hard and fast playing style, particular emphasis is placed on the longevity of the strings, a quick response and good resistance.

The set is available in stainless steel (013 - 056), set in standard tuning by Axel Ritt, but are also an excellent choice for down tunings of all kinds.

Good set for drop tunings

Im playing this set on a Solar S1.6 (25.5" scale lenght) mainly in drop B and am very happy with it.

Good tension and strings feel good to play, and sound nice.

Für Drop B geeignet

Ich habe mir die Saiten gekauft, um auf meiner Schecter Demon auf Drop B runtergehen zu können. Es gibt noch einen dickeren Signature-Satz von Axel Ritt, aber ich wollte es erst mit diesem hier probieren. Das Ergebnis hat mich umgehauen - die Saiten sind schön straff und der Sound ist super-crisp. Nicht etwa klirrend oder scheppernd, sondern klar, präsent und voluminös. Ich hatte nie spezielle Präferenzen was Saiten anbelangt, aber bei den Dingern hier bleibe ich.

Attention, cordes en acier

Pour ceux n'en ayant pas l'habitude, c'est de la vraie corde en acier : ça accroche un peu sous les doigts et ça peut en rebuter certains. Un bon coup de Fast Fret avant de jouer et on n'y pense plus.

Gute Saiten zum Tieferlegen

Habe die Saiten auf meine Ibanez rg, gedropt auf C. Hier ist die Saitenspannung ähnlich einer Gitarre mit normaler Stimmung und Saiten. Der Klang ist voll und definiert, die Saiten schwingen gleichmäßig und lang aus. Die Haltbarkeit ist für nicht beschichtete Saiten sehr zufriedenstellend.
