Broke after 10 minutes of steady rimshots

I run a rock/metal/punk recording studio and I expect the drummers to play rimshots. I'm also a drummer and I play nothing but rimshots because I'm not a weakling. And so I need sticks that won't break, which these unfortunately did.

Don't get me wrong, they feel great to play and were solid, but I can't say they'll last you long if you play anything harder than Red Hot Chilli Peppers

Habe mir die Sticks einfach mal als Altenative zu VicFirth 5B bestellt. Die Sticks sind nicht vergleichbar, wer 5B Classic Sticks gewohnt ist, sollte die nehmen. Diese fühlen sich irgendwie klobiger an…

Ich habe die Zultan 5B Hickory mit den entsprechenden Sticks von Vic Firth verglichen. Ergebnis: Die Zultan Sticks fühlen sich anders an - klar, natürliche Oberfläche vs. Lack - und sind sonst im Wesentlichen identisch. Ich fand das Anfass-Gefühl gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber auch nach einigen Wochen hatte ich das Gefühl, dass die Vic Firths etwas besser an der Haut haften.
Da die Zultans bisher nicht im 12er-Pack erhältlich sind, sind sie etwas teurer. Daher bleibe ich bei den VFs.

Inwieweit die Sticks nun über mehrere Paare identisch sind (vor allem hinsichtlich des Gewichts), konnte ich nicht feststellen, da ich nur ein Paar bestellt habe.
