A truly excellent 5 string bass
I had been thinking about getting a 5 string for a while. I already had a 4 and a 6 string and neither one was working for me. This bass is beautifully well made and plays incredibly well. It has a bright punchy sound and even with those huge humbuckers it doesn't sound muddy.
The string spacing is perfect for me and it allows both finger style and slap to be played very comfortably and enjoyably. The finish is immaculate and looks absolutely stunning. It also comes with Warwick strap locks which was an added bonus that I wasn't expecting. Thomann shipped it in a padded gig bag inside a cardboard box and it arrived in perfect condition, I can't fault you guys. Great service.
I would have liked the option to coil tap the humbuckers with a push pull or a switch but that is a minor inconvenience and something I can upgrade to in the future if necessary.
On the whole I would highly recommend this bass as it is superb value for money and you will not be disappointed with the sound it produces.
