Coppia matched difettosa.

Lo so, su migliaia di valvole prodotte in serie ci scappa quella difettosa: una delle due valvole faceva andare in sovraccarico l'amplificatore (non so scendere nei dettagli ma mi è stato detto dal perito elettronico) a causa di un difetto di costruzione.
Pur conscio del fatto che i prodotti difettosi capitano, non posso fare a meno di segnalare la cosa, soprattutto perché si tratta di una coppia di valvole (presumibilmente) testate.
Deluso, effettuo il reso.

Very happy with the upgrade

I used these for my Fender Hotrod Deluxe. This was my first time swapping out power tubes myself. Have had the tubes changed in the past but always brought it to an amp tech.
It is worth doing some research about setting the bias on the amp before purchasing replacement power tubes. Although, it is very doable with a basic understanding of electronics and a multimeter.
These tubes brought my amp back to life, restored the clarity and transients that had disappeared when using the old tubes. Very happy with the sound.

Sovetk 6L6 Valves

I purchased the Sovtek 6L6 valves to replace Electro Harmonix 6L6 valves in my Kustom Defender amplifier. My feeling is that there has been an impovement in comparison to the older valves ... this maybe down purely to wear and end of life. The Sovteks have been gigged twice ... excellent !

An affordable replacement

I bought these to replace the stock tubes in my Jet City 50H after one went bad. They breathed new life into an amp that I otherwise felt to be rather dull sounding. I give these two thumbs up and definitely will get them again when needed.
