dopo aver provato diverse marche di corde mi sono fermato ormai da anni sulle rotosound per il feeling e per il suono che danno al basso ( le monto con diverse scalature su tutti i miei bassi )
le corde risultano al tatto particolarmente "ruvide" bisogna abituarcisi
ho dato 3 stelle alla fabbricazione perchè diverse volte mi sono capitate mute fallate con corde sorde o estremamente fragili ma nonostante questi inconvenienti ho continuato a comprarle
il suono da corda nuova , molto metallico ( deve piacere ) svanisce in fretta e il suono che ne scaturisce è secondo me fantastico
nient'altro da dire, corde assolutamente da provare

Ottime corde conosciutissime

Ho montato questo set sia su un Precision Special sia su un Rickenbacker 4003, ottimo il suono ed ottima la durata, per il rock rappresentano la muta ideale.

ma onestamente dalle rotosound mi aspettavo di più,si presentano un po' cupe,sottotono,forse erano troppo vecchie?boh...cmq sono light per il prezzo sicuramente vale la pena

Good Strings

i used to use Rotosound bass strings all the time years ago. Like a lot of people I try new strings here and there. Recently I tried a set of these again after many years on one of my jazz basses. Comparing these to Ernie Ball Extra Slinky bass strings which were on that bass in the same gauge I find the Rotosound bass strings a bit more articulate and the "E" string a bit stronger than the Extra Slinkys. They also cut through the band mix a bit better and the tone is a bit more rock if you will. .The feel of the Rotosound's seem a bit rougher to the touch to my feel. Overall I like these a bit better than the Extra Slinkys and feel the difference is worth a bit more for the Rotosound strings. They last about the same as the Extra Slinky's but when these loose that new string ring they don't go as dead as the Extra Slinkys. These last about three weeks of hard playing even with wiping down the strings. Of course I like the fresh string sound so I may be changing my string more than others feel necessary.
