I purchased an 8 string set to use on a lap steel guitar. Yhe tension of the strings was nife and positive, alloeing for a very easy play with a tonebar. The strings themselves sound very full, with enough top end "zing" to provide the classic lap steel sound.

Some of my favourite all around lap steel strings: bright but with some nice mids in there too. No cons I can think of & highly recommended for all styles from country to bues & rock.

Was soll man als Erst-Bewerter sagen? Erst einmal ist es toll, daß es fertig abgestimmte Sätze auch für ungewöhnliche Instrumente wie 8-saitige LapSteels gibt. Damit muß man nicht mühsam Einzelsaiten zusammenkaufen. Die Qualität ist bei Pyramid Saiten immer gut, die Lieferung erfolgt ganz altmodisch im Papiertütchen. Der Preis ist gut.

Für mich interessant wäre es allerdings, wenn es für die Harley Benton Slider 8 auch noch einen Satz mit etwas dickeren Saiten geben würde. Aber bei der geringen Zahl solcher Instrumente die im Gebrauch sind wird das wohl ein Traum bleiben.
